FCRHA Properties Managed by Quantum Win 2018 PACE Awards
 

The Property Management Association recognized the best communities in the industry at the 8th Annual Apartment Community Excellence (PACE) Awards Ceremony, held October 18, 2018, at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel.

Every year, hundreds of multifamily residential market-rate, affordable-housing and senior-living communities in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia participate in the PACE Awards competition to recognize their accomplishments in property management. There were more than 220 apartment communities entered in this year’s competition. The following communities managed by Quantum took home awards:
 

  • Cedar Ridge (Affordable Winner)

  • Morris Glen (Senior Winner)

  • Herndon Harbor House I and II (Distinguished Community – Senior)


The criteria judges used to evaluate communities included, but was not limited to, the following:
 

  • Landscaping/Grounds/Curb Appeal

  • Reception Area/Leasing Center

  • Building Interior; Building Health and Safety

  • Common Areas and Amenities

  • Resident Services

  • Resident Events and Activities

  • Marketing Outreach

  • Community Service and

  • Resident Retention


Awards were given in four categories to help ensure apples-to-apples comparisons. The award categories were:
 

  • Market rate

  • Lease-up (properties less than a year old)

  • Affordable (tax credit/government assisted)

  • Senior (55+ communities that are 75 percent senior, including those that are affordable)
