September is National Preparedness Month

Every year, September is recognized as National Preparedness Month, a time to prepare for disasters and emergencies that could affect us where we live, work, go to school, worship and visit. This year, National Preparedness Month is focused on planning, with the theme “Disasters Happen. Prepare Now. Learn How,” which is timely due to the arrival of Hurricane Florence. Now, more than ever, it is important to prepare. Remember, disasters don’t plan ahead, but you can. Learn more at www.Ready.gov/September.
