Partnership for Permanent Housing Program Finalist for NHC 2009 Pioneering Housing Strategies Award
PPH Program Featured on NHC Website

In 2009, the Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD), and its partners in the Partnership for Permanent Housing Program (PPH), were named a finalist by the National Housing Conference (NHC) in their Pioneering Housing Strategies Awards competition. For the week of January 4, NHC will highlight HCD and the PPH program on the NHC website at: http://www.nhcopenhouse.org/2010/01/nhc-2009-pioneering-housing-strategies.html. NHC commends PPH for its “full-scope” approach to providing stability for families by concentrating on the wide range of issues related to poverty and homelessness.

NHC is a national non-profit organization dedicated to advocating nonpartisan national policies and legislations and promoting affordable housing. NHC recognizes pioneering affordable housing strategies and community development initiatives. The Pioneering Housing Strategies Award replaces the former NHC Excellence in Housing Communications Award.
