Non-Profit Dialogue Focuses on FCRHA Annual Housing Authority Plan
Residential Studio Zoning Ordinance Amendment also on Agenda

On May 9, 2008, representatives of non-profit organizations and other interested citizens gathered to provide input on the Fiscal Year 2009 Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority (FCRHA) Annual Public Housing Authority Plan and related issues.  Staff from the Department of Planning and Zoning (DPZ) also provided a briefing and answered questions on the planned proposal for a Zoning Ordinance amendment related to Residential Studio units.  This “Non-Profit Dialogue” was the fifth in a series of conversations with the FCRHA’s non-profit partners initiated by HCD Director Paula C. Sampson in 2006.

Following presentations and a question and answer period, participants broke into smaller groups to provide comments on the Plan.  The input provided by the small groups will be presented to the Housing Authority.
