FCRHA Approves Partial Funding for Olley Glen
At their meeting on June 21, the FCRHA authorized, subject to approval by the Board of Supervisors, the reallocation of funds up to $1,891,476 million for partial financing for the development of Olley Glen in the Braddock District. Olley Glen is the third phase of construction on the Little River Glen Campus, which already includes 120 units of independent senior living, a senior center, adult day health care and Braddock Glen Assisted Living facility. The new construction of Olley Glen will include 90 additional units of independent senior living affordable to low-income elderly. A fourth and final phase of construction at the Little River Glen is also being planned which will add another 60 units of independent living for low income elderly, space for Senior Center activities, Magnet Housing and office space for senior housing management staff. Upon completion, the campus will include a total of 270 independent living units, 60 units for assisted living, two senior centers and an Adult Day Care Center. Construction of Olley Glen is expected to begin in 2008.
